Download YouTube Videos

You probably have your favorite YouTube videos that you have to watch at least once a day, I know that I do. But what if you want to show those videos to your friends, you have to be at a computer, if only you could download those videos and put them on a portable device so you don’t have to be online and at a computer. Here’s how you can.

Vixy (www.vixy.net) will take the youtube URL and download the video and encode it any way you wish, AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, or MP3 audio only. So you can put it on any device you please, 3GP for phones, MP4 for iPods, etc.

Firefox Plugins

Firefox has to be the #1 web browser in existence for Windows and Linux, #2 on the Mac, I personally like Safari on the Mac better but thats my opinion and you may disagree… anyway. The best part about Firefox is the ability for plugins. I know that many people don’t even bother to install any but this may get the ball rolling on that. Here are my favorite Firefox plugins.

#1 – Color Tabs

This is just something to make your tabs look pretty but I think it is cool to have the tabs different colors and it makes them easy to distinguish between one another.

#2 – Adblock Plus

If you are like me, and on this I’m sure every one is, you hate ads. Well this does exactly what the name implies, blocks ads! It’s highly effective

#3 – The Digg Toolbar

Well this is only cool if you are a Digg fan like I am but this will add a digg button to the top of firefox so ever page you go to you can see if somebody has submitted it to Digg and you can Digg it right there or If it has not been submitted then you can with a click of one button.

Starting Over

Ok, so my first use of this blog never took off, I just can’t get used to doing live video of myself, I guess I’m too self-concious.
